Working on a desk can be challenging for people with HNPP.
Advices given by patients, include:
Computer:
(Electric) sit/stand desk (Ikea)
Ergonomic keyboard
Wrist rest for keyboard (Amazon)
Ergonomic mouse (preferably for both hands)
Memory mat to put on your desk to support arms/elbows/wrists/hands
Change position frequently
Try to walk around (get something to drink, go to the bathroom)
If your chair gives you numbness, try to sit on a memory foam pillow or alternatively use other chairs or aids (sitting ball/standing chair/ ...) and switch regularly.
Use speech to text software (voice dictation software) to minimize typing. (Also possible in Google docs, example: Dragon)
