When having symptoms caused by you shoes, try to switch shoes. The information below was collected from the different Facebook pages for HNPP patients and are completed with personal experiences.
When a shoe seems to put pressure somewhere, ask the seller if they are able to widen them. There are tools, like a shoe tensioner, for doing it. Show where you feel the pressure and they might be able to widen that piece of the shoe. It's better to have them widen it, than buying a shoe that is too large.
Soft insoles might help for avoiding numbness.
